Giving back as a group

MacysPhoto

The WARM Place, as many of you well know, is very fortunate to have a very large and extremely dedicated group of Volunteer Facilitators and House Parents that make the daily machine of our program run smoothly.

What you may NOT know, is that throughout the year we are visited by many corporate and community groups of volunteers looking to impact the community they live and work in.

When we are visited by a large group, they help us with many various tasks- including but not limited to: re-stocking art supplies in the children’s rooms, washing windows, sorting scrap book paper, stuffing envelopes, set-up and staffing for special events, gardening and so much more.

I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a few groups who have lent a hand (or, I should say- many hands!) since I have taken my role as Volunteer Coordinator. Please visit the links below to learn more about their community impact.

As always- a big THANK YOU to the generous members of our community who give of their valuable time to help our organization and our grieving families.
