This Year, Volunteer!

resolutions2016-crop-600x338

With the start of a new year, many people have a renewed motivation to better themselves or their community as part of their resolutions. Sound familiar?

Becoming a Volunteer Facilitator at The WARM Place can fulfill any number of resolutions!

  • Did you resolve to volunteer more often? BAM! That one was easy.
  • Did you resolve to give back to your community? Our Facilitators donate just 8 hours of their time each month to make our entire program
  • Did you resolve to work on self-care or self-worth? Facilitating with our grieving families brings tremendous feeling of pride and purpose to our volunteers. Knowing that you can be an open ear and a kind heart to someone in pain is a very rewarding experience!
  • How about making new friends? Over the course of the year you will bond with your fellow facilitators—and your plans with them are already set for the whole year.

The list goes on and on. Please, consider becoming a Volunteer Facilitator at The WARM Place. You can also forward or share this flyer with your classmates, church group, softball team, Bunco club- anyone you think might be touched by our mission as much as you are.

There is still time to sign up for our Spring 2016 Volunteer Training that starts on February 9th!  Completed volunteer applications and background check forms can be sent to Natalie@thewarmplace.org or feel free to call 817-870-2272 ext. 24 with any questions!
