Fort Worth, TX: The WARM Place has announced that Kate Casey, Dr. Raj Gandhi, and Justin Lauderdale have joined its 2020-2021 board of directors. All three have prior connections to the organization.
Kate Casey brings 10 years of counseling experience to her board position, giving her a valuable perspective for the organization. Casey has history with The WARM Place, where she worked as a contract monitor assisting with group nights from 2013-2016. Casey is employed at Autumn Ridge Counseling and Wellness, PLLC in Southlake.
Dr. Raj Gandhi is the Trauma Medical Director at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth and has practiced medicine for over 25 years. He currently serves as the Associate Examiner on The American Board of Surgery and has been an Associate Professor and Physician Development Coach for the TCU/UNTHSC School of Medicine since 2017. Gandhi says he and his two college aged children were all helped by The WARM Place, and he has sought to return the gift by becoming a member of the board.
Justin Lauderdale also attended The WARM Place with his family for grief support. He is the managing partner at Admire Sanford & Lauderdale, PLLC of Fort Worth, and brings several years of volunteer service experience to the board. Most recently, Lauderdale served as the Treasurer on the board for Gathering Hope.
Board President, Christi Thornhill, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC, says she is excited to welcome Casey, Gandhi, and Lauderdale to The WARM Place board:
