Father’s Day Without Dad

Summer is here! Our WARM Place children, like all kids, are excited for the time off school and all the fun activities that summer brings. However, June can also be a tough time for many of them as Father’s Day approaches. In fact, over half of our 504 currently enrolled children are grieving the death of their father. But The WARM Place is here for them year-round, providing the support they need as they learn to cope with missing their dad, all at no cost to their families!

One mom recently told us:
“The WARM Place helped my daughter and I tremendously in a time we needed it most. Having a place where my daughter could interact with others her age who could relate to the loss of a parent was extremely helpful in aiding her in her grief journey.”

This Father’ Day, would you consider a gift to The WARM Place to help children along their grief journey toward hope and healing? You can make it even more meaningful by donating in honor or memory of your own father or father figure. (And if you’re looking for something for a hard-to-shop-for male, this is a great solution!) Thank you for agreeing with us that no child should ever have to grieve alone!
