The Warm Place Potluck

Join the Coolest Club in Town!

Are you or someone you know passionate and ready to serve our grieving community? Become a WARM Place Volunteer Group Facilitator! Our group facilitators help lead discussions and explain activities to the children and teenagers in our evening support groups. The WARM Place volunteers make our program possible. With our 3,400 square foot expansion, we are hoping to serve more families! To serve more families, we need more volunteers! The time commitment is 8 hours a month (4 hours for each group night).

Hear from one of our current volunteers!

“My favorite thing about volunteering at The WARM Place is the children. I am so inspired by their resiliency, as well as their willingness to share their deepest thoughts and feelings. Additionally, my co-facilitators and The WARM Place staff never cease to amaze me with their ideas on how to better serve the children who participate in the program.” – Jo Connelly

We require our new volunteer facilitators to attend four training sessions that begin next month on May 28th! The 16-hour training course is essential to understanding how to help grieving families.

If you are anyone you might be interested, apply online or contact Alex Baird, Volunteer Coordinator at alex@thewarmplace.org or 817-870-2272! See the summer schedule for training below, along with the volunteer application!
