We hosted our last Drive-thru Family Night of the year on Friday, December 4th with a record number of 235 people in attendance! The evening included three different stops, where families were able to pick up some holiday goodies! The first stop had everything you needed to build a gingerbread house at home! This wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Lhoist. Their employees held a gingerbread house kit drive for The WARM Place and donated over 75 kits! We got lots of smiles when we handed them their own gingerbread houses to decorate.
Next up, families received hot cocoa kits, included hot chocolate packs, marshmallows, and candy canes! Everyone in the car got their own hot cocoa kit to enjoy at home. Lastly, families picked up dinner to-go, courtesy of Frost Bank! The kids (and parents) were excited about having an easy and delicious dinner of pizza! We also had a surprise visit from Frosty the Snowman at our last stop to greet families and take pictures!
Overall, The WARM Place staff had so much fun spreading holiday cheer at our last Drive-Thru event of 2020! It was a great way to end the year with our families!
