Tis the Season to be Thankful

Tis the season to be thankful and we are so very thankful to all those who make our mission possible. Without our donors, our dedicated volunteers, and those who love The WARM Place, the work we do here for children grieving the death of someone they love dearly wouldn’t be possible. The Warm Place - Thank You - 11-2015..
Last Thursday we were able to personally thank our most generous and loyal donors. Helen and Michael Todora graciously opened their home to host The WARM Place “Donor Appreciation Reception.” Although it was an unusually cold evening for Fall in Texas, over 80 guests gathered to share their love for The WARM Place. This wouldn’t have been possible without sponsorship from Frost. Delicious Mediterranean cuisine was provided by Chadra Mezza & Grill, The Warm Place - Thank You - 11-2015..sweet desserts by Nothing Bundt Cakes on Camp Bowie, craft beer from Rahr & Sons Brewing Company, and boutique wine from Put a Cork In It Wine Shop. Everyone even got to play a little game of “Heads or Tails”, and the winner of the game got a wine tasting and winery tour for 10 people from Times Ten Cellars. The Warm Place - Thank You - 11-2015.
We hope that all of our donors, not just those who attended, but all those who have given of their time, talent and treasure over the last 25 years, feel our heart-felt thank you. Because of the wonderful community that surrounds us with love, children at The WARM Place will never have to grieve alone.
A special thanks to J Clinton Photography for these wonderful images from the event!
