North Texas Giving Day, the largest community-wide giving event in the nation, is happening this year on Thursday, September 19th! This incredible day brings together over 3,000 nonprofits across North Texas, giving you the chance to support the causes you care about most. We are excited to share that The WARM Place was selected to receive a $20,000 match from The Morris Foundation for this year’s event! Every gift, no matter the size, will be matched dollar for dollar up to $20,000.
For 35 years, The WARM Place has companioned over 48,000 children and family members along their grief journeys. Our goal this year is to raise $70,000 for WARM Place children and families! We offer our services free of charge, with no geographical limitations or time constraints.
As Tarrant County’s only agency solely dedicated to children’s bereavement, we are committed to offering critical support to grieving families and children. On North Texas Giving Day, consider making a donation to help us maintain these vital services.
Additionally, you can make a meaningful impact by volunteering with us. We are looking for house parents to assist with group night potlucks and facilitators to support children and families through their grief journey.
