WARM Place Families Go Wild

Click here to see more photos of our Family Day at the Zoo!

Our WARM Place families and staff had a blast at the June Family Day at the Fort Worth Zoo!  We had over 200 people join us for a delicious continental breakfast first thing in the morning before heading out to explore the may attractions at the Fort Worth Zoo!

WARM Place Counselor, Teresa Bartnicki, and WARM Place Volunteer, Brian Hamlin, greet families as they arrive at the Fort Worth Zoo!

It was really fun to host a Family ‘Day’ outing as an alternative to our regular Family Nights that are held quarterly at The WARM Place.  Family Nights focus on making new memories as a family after a death. We invite the WHOLE family to come together- so you can bring the baby, grandpa, and a friend. Each family night has a different theme and includes different activities.  Family Nights are open to past, present, and future families of The WARM Place.

Our next Family Night take place on Friday, August 25th and we will be Painting the Strokes of Grief. Dinner and supplies will be provided and there is no cost to attend.

Email shelley@thewarmplace.org for more information and to RSVP by August 15th.
